Tunnel Ovens

Designed for high throughput of components or continuous processing, Mindon tunnel ovens operate from 50 C to 250 C. Their modular design allows the construction of virtually any size and configuration of oven, including 'Camel' and vertical ovens. To ensure maximum heat efficiency, all apertures have an air curtain to minimise hot air spillage and waste. Air knives provide for hot air to be recirculated and used to maintain the air curtain.

When installed, the oven is set up with a multi-point temperature recorder to ensure temperature uniformity. Two thicknesses of shell insulation are provided, dependent upon operating temperatures.

As with the Box Ovens, design, manufacture and installation are completed by Mindon engineers. Three types of process air heaters are offered: steam heat exchanger, electric heater or Mindon's gas fired Brogel burner.
